“Humans are all so much more alike than we are different.
We all share the same emotions.
My mission is to be a bridge to bring people together.”

Chad RedLightofDawn is an Americana-soul artist whose music carries the voice of the people through raw analog expression.

Growing up in Minnesota and now based in North Bend, WA, Chad is a lifelong musician and blue-collar home builder. He delivers songs that carry his values of integrity and authenticity. Recording entirely to tape—no edits, no computers, no AI—he has proven to be a songwriter who embraces perfect imperfections, the ways of the old way.

His journey with music began at 5 years old as a drummer. His craft later expanded as a multi-instrumentalist, where he fronted bands as a singer and supported touring acts as both a drummer and keyboardist. He honed his singer-songwriter skills busking in Seattle’s world-famous Pike Place Market in his formative years.

Today, he has come into his most authentic expression as a solo artist, with raw acoustic guitar accompanied by his deep, seasoned, soulful voice.

Summer 2026 brings a collection of original songs spanning two EPs, Love Songs for Entropy Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, along with a summer tour through WA, ID, and Montana.

The Sleeeping Giant

“Songs are a ceremony. Being on stage and having the great honor to share, express, and connect to people is what is most special. No matter what state I’m in, the great remembering is that Spirit, Source, God… is always moving through me, through all of us! My greatest responsibility is to get out of the way!”

When I became a father, I put my soul’s mission to the side. I became selfless, dedicating my all to fatherhood, to marriage, to my business. I served other great artists’ visions as a supporting musician. All the while, there was a sleeping giant living in me… the giant that is the mission of my soul! I stopped refusing the call. I awakened again to the invocation. My soul is here to sing songs for the people! To be a connector, a bridge builder, a unifier, and a truth teller! To stand up against oppression and tyranny, a warrior with music as my tool to fight!

Music captured me from an early age. At 5 years old, I remember buying my first record to play on my Fonzie record player, “New Kid in Town” by The Eagles. I remember how sad and lonely it made me feel. It was the first time I learned that music has the power to create emotion that feels like our own experience. From then on, life was an unfolding of events and circumstances where music was always my safe place. The bands and artists were like good ol’ friends who never met me!

It moved me so deeply that I wanted to feel what it feels like to be inside the song. That is where it all started for me. To this day, my favorite place to be is inside the song… it’s an infinite place.
